I (almost) lost my old Discord account
A quick update: I still have access to my "compromised" account with my current friends on my friend list, old messages and the servers I'm in except for my email. I already submitted a request in the official Discord support website and I'm still waiting for a response. Until my email gets changed back, I'll be using my backup account from now on. Someone is using stolen NSFW art on YT (No joke)
Before you ask: No, I'm not joking. This is actually real. So the other day while I was searching for videos of Purrloin (A.K.A. my most favorite Pokécat), I stumbled across a somewhat uncanny YouTube channel (whom I will not name for the safety of your sanity) that is radiated with f*rt f*tish related videos containing stolen NSFW artwork that violates the community guidelines. I mean like, how is that idiot with 450 subs even able to get away with it? The person behind the YouTube channel doesn't realize that they are at risk for channel deletion. I had to report this person but it's taking longer than I expected. What a surprise. One other thing: Don't be that person on YouTube, or else you'll risk termination.
[CASE CLOSED] Art thief: UltimateFinale
FINAL UPDATE - 8/24/2023: Welp, it took 4 days but it looks like the art thief has been dealt with, thanks to a ton of DMCA strikes and reports. It may be finally over, but we can't get our hopes up just yet as there could be another one of those art thieves in the site. This has been my final update on the issue. Stay frosty. It has come to my attention that a random user known as @UltimateFinale is reuploading not just my artwork, but someone else's artwork without permission from the original owners, myself included. Worst of all, UltimateFinale renamed the reuploaded/stolen artwork with a different title. From what I was able to gather, I managed to find the original owners who's art were stolen from UltimateFinale: @Pksmashbros, @roaxes, @goldiStudioMG4, @ZaneTheDragon, @TheEstevezCompany, @ZeFrenchM, @Peach-X-Yoshi and @evgnm . PSA: Beware of this Discord Scam
Just a precaution for any of you who uses Discord: If you get a DM from a hacked account, do not, and I mean DO NOT join the server. If you do, you'll be sent a QR code to scan. Does that give you access to the server after scanning the QR code? No. It snatches your login details and bypasses your 2FA, password and your payment methods. After your account gets taken over by the bot army, it'll send the exact same scam to others, thus losing control of your account. I see "your" being reported for being misspelled as "you're" a lot on Facebook. It would be worse of the person who misspells it like that complains, saying "Nobody, uhh, like, umm, ever complained, like, before! How dare you, uhhh, object! I'm like sooo triggered right now!" (added the bonus "uhh"s, "like"s, and a "sooo", for additional stupidity).
